The budded cross, also known as the Apostles' Cross, appears in Christian art, architecture, liturgical vestments, devotional jewelry, and carved stonework across every century of the faith's history.
The three-lobed trefoil at the end of each arm is symbolic of the Holy Trinity and the three theological virtues; Faith, Hope, and Charity. And, all twelve lobes represent the Twelve Apostles that Christ sent into the world to carry the faith.
I carved these crosses originally for the use of holding when you pray, but I added a hole through the top so they can be hung on the wall or elsewhere if you want. I can include a leather cord, some thin twine, or just the wire loop if you'd like.
