Have you ever wished you could live in Middle Earth, Narnia, or other fantasy worlds? With this chest, you can bring a hint of the proud kingdom of Rohan to your home!
This chest is entirely constructed by hand from birch wood, in a similar fashion to Viking chests found at the historical sites of Hedeby and Oseberg.

The decorative patterns on the chest are burned entirely by hand using a pyrography pen. I combined the Rohirric sun and horse faces from the Lord of the Rings films along with a knotwork pattern of my own design to create a semblance of something that would fit in a setting such as the great hall of Meduseld in Edoras.
This chest is made for indoor use, but is quite durable enough to be brought outdoors to a military camp or on a longship, though the finish will wear more outside.
